Our Junior Church takes place each week. The children leave for their own age-related groups after the first 20 minutes of the service except for our all-age festival services at Christmas, Mothering Sunday and Harvest.
The 3rd and 4th Sundays are particularly well-attended by families as then our Junior Orchestra practices (3rd) and plays in the service (4th).
On the fourth Sunday, we are also normally joined by the local Beaver Colony so there is perhaps more of a family service ambience; so if you are new to the church that might be the best Sunday to try. Note that, in some months, we vary the orchestra dates, so check the weekly notice sheet for details.
We also have both a crèche for the very youngest and "the corner" as an area of the church designed with young children in mind, for the first part of the service.
Also our Toddler Group meets each term-time Wednesday, 2.00 - 4.00pm. A warm welcome awaits all parents and carers. Adults can relax, chat and have a cuppa while the children play and learn to socialise. Also, each year the older children choose a charity to support – either by individual giving or by specific fund-raising events
We aim to offer a warm welcome to all in the family, including parents and grandparents.
