The church supports a range of charitable endeavours during a year:
We support seven charities nominated by church meeting, usually
of national or international nature, directly from church funds.
We also donate our monthly Communion service offerings to charity,
usually supporting local activities.
We support emergency appeals immediately from church funds, which
are then covered and supported further by retiring collections, or possibly
one month's Communion offertory.
Members contribute to the URC's 'Commitment for Life' programme,
supporting Christian Aid’s work in
Zimbabwe.
At our Harvest service we now raise awareness of, and bring gifts of
Lorraine Russell From Poole Food Bank
