Bible Society Christmas Card stickers

Please take some for putting on your cards for posting. These are free but a small donation towards cost would be appreciated.

"Word in Action" - Bible Society quarterly news magazine

A few copies are of the last 2 issues are at the back of the church so if you were not able to get to last Sunday evenings meeting you will be able to catch on some of the news we heard of the work being done and results in Ethiopia

Advent Tree of Remembrance

Following our special Advent Service of Remembrance, our special Christmas tree is now in the 'Corner' by the Book of Remembrance. If you wish, please take a decoration from the bowl and add it to the tree in memory of a loved one. You may also like to write their name on one of the special slips and place it in the basket under the tree. May God bless our memories and may the light of those we have loved continue to shine in our hearts and lives.

Roots to Routes and Twotoo

Here is another way to help Routes to Roots and perhaps find some Christmas presents.  The following information is from R2R:  'Last year TwoToo donated a large number of scarves and t-shirts to Routes to Roots.  The products they have on their website are really good so please do have a look.  TwoToo expresses support and identification with those in need. For every TwoToo scarf or T-shirt bought, TwoToo will give a warm fleece scarf to a homeless person. TwoToo is supporting R2R with donations and scarves so simply go to the website to make your purchase and then enter the preference code for Routes to Roots (R2R): http://twotoo.co.uk.'
